What is the best golf ball for my handicap?
Most of our golf balls are added to our handicap categories to suit different abilities of golfers e.g. high, mid, low and tour.
The handicap is the ability of the player and the lower the number the better the player. High handicap golf balls should suit 18-36, mid handicap balls can be 12-18, low handicap 6-12 and tour 0-6. These categories are an excellent guide to help you choose the correct golf balls for your game. Some players may decide to play better golf balls than their handicap for example, a 16 handicap golfer plays a tour quality golf ball.
This may be fine but golf balls can be a very expensive, so our guide will give you the best value golf ball choice based on your handicap.
For better players (low and tour) you should look to find the golf ball with the best spin rate and trajectory. You can get this information if you have a golf ball fitting or lesson with a radar technology. The radar will pick up your launch, spin rate and distance with different golf balls and clubs.
